Monarch Butterfly Festival

Date: 4th Saturday in October
Location: St. Marks Wildlife Refuge Visitor’s Center
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wildlife seekers can come to watch the migrating monarch butterfly pass through the Wakulla County coast around this time, specifically at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The festival has numerous wildlife exhibits in addition to nature-based educational demonstrations.
