Fun Run: 24th Annual Sopchoppy Worm Gruntin’ Festival

The Worm Gruntin’ Festival is an iconic Wakulla County staple. Worm Gruntin’ is a lifestyle, and we celebrate it all day long.
“What a Wonderful Worm” Fun Run
This family-friendly fun run, which officially kicks off the 24th Annual Sopchoppy Worm Gruntin’ Festival, is a 1.4 mile Run/walk that meanders through historic downtown Sopchoppy, Florida. Walkers and runners are both welcome!
- Run begins at 8 am at the intersection of Rose Street & Orange Avenue
- Participants are encouraged to wear spirited attire, if desired
- Awards given to the first three finishers of each category: men, women, boys <12 years, girls <12 years
- All participants receive a fuzzy worm necklace
Registration:
- Adults, on or before March 12: $20 with a race t-shirt.
- Adults, March 13 – April 11: $25 with a race t-shirt.
- Children <12, any time: $15 with a race t-shirt.
