2026 Kids Fishing Derby

For kids 3-15, this annual fishing derby awards a rod, reel, and T-shirt to the first 150 kids who weigh in fish or visit all educational booths on-site. Fishing hours are from daylight Saturday morning until weigh-in closes at 2pm (just make sure you’re in line with your fish by 2pm!) Trophies and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners immediately after weigh-in closes. Hot dogs, drinks, and snacks will be provided at no charge,

Saltwater Species:

• Pinfish/Croaker
• Ladyfish
• Speckled Trout
• Flounder
• Spanish Mackerel
• Saltwater Catfish

Freshwater Species:

• Bass
• Bream
• Catfish
