The 9th Annual Panacea Rock the Dock Fishing Tournament will be taking place this year from April 28 through the 30th at Woolley Park! This anticipated event is fun for the entire family and will feature live entertainment, an exciting fishing tournament, and so much more! If you enjoy fishing or are simply looking for a fun weekend event to check out for yourself, Rock the Dock is the place to be.

Schedule of Events

Rock the Dock 2017 will kick off with the Captains Meeting on April 28th with registration from 4:30-7:30PM. Dinner will be served from 6:00 until 8:00 with live entertainment being provided through 10:00, and a cash bar.

The fishing tournament will run from April 29-30th at Woolley Park. Official weigh-ins taking place from 3-6PM on Saturday and noon until 4PM on Sunday.

Thinking About Competing?

If you’re interested in taking part in the fishing tournament, there are some things you should know before you register. Start by checking the list of divisions available and which category you would like to participate in. This event truly has a competition for every saltwater angler!

With divisions for kayak, youth and recreational, there’s something for all ages. Over $37,000 will be paid out in cash and prizes! There will also be short- and long-sleeve Rock the Dock shirts, and other souvenirs, available for purchase.

Please keep in mind that you may only register in one division and that fishing hours officially begin at 5:30AM on Saturday, April 29th and ends at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 30th.

Stay Nearby

If you’re thinking of attending this year’s Rock the Dock, there are plenty of great places to stay nearby. Whether you’re interested in camping, beach rentals, or a traditional hotel/motel, there are several options available within a quick drive of Woolley Park.

Some of these hotels, such as The Magnuson Hotel Wildwood Inn, off a special rate for those visiting for this event, so be sure to inquire when you make your reservation to take advantage of any deals being offered.

While you’re in Wakulla County, be sure to check out all the other attractions this area has to offer. From shopping and dining to museums, parks, and everything in between, there’s so much to see and do. A must visit is Gulf Specimen Marine Lab which is just down the street from Woolley Park.

Register online through April 27th at midnight for this year’s Rock the Dock tournament, or register in-person on April 28th. We look forward to seeing you there for a weekend of fishing and fun!
